Kawak’s engineers use state of the art software as well as experience to create digital models of each product design enabling validation of form, fit, and functionality prior to building the first prototype. Our design team uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to calculate component displacements, strains, and stresses under internal and external loads, reducing the need for costly prototypes, eliminating rework and delays, and saving time and development costs overall. FEA models are submitted to the FAA for review by our close-knit team of DER’s for airworthiness review and approval for flight operations. Kawak’s design process ensures that initial prototypes through production articles meet and exceed every customers needs and expectations.
