Blackhawk Fire Attack System

Kawak’s S-70/UH-60 Aerial Firefighting Tank System transforms the Blackhawk workhorse into an elite high-capacity, mission-ready firefighting platform. Purpose-built for front-line suppression, it features a modular design for fast installation, multi-mission flexibility, and full VNE performance.

At its core is a 1,000-gallon internal tank constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum with internal baffling for strength and slosh control. A retractable snorkel system with a 7.5 HP electric pump enables rapid 40-second hover refills, then stows to maintain cruise speed for fast attack.

Dual clamshell doors deliver precision drop control with selectable flow rates and split-drop options, powered by a constant-flow hydraulic system. A 30-gallon foam tank allows on-demand injection for improved drop effectiveness. A dedicated emergency dump circuit can empty the tank in under three seconds—independently of primary systems.

But performance isn’t the only reason operators choose Kawak:

  • Because you’re not just buying a tank, you’re investing in uptime and adaptability.

  • Because we listen, this system was developed with pilot input, not assumptions.

  • Because we support what we build, with gear that’s serviceable in the field and backed by real people who answer the phone.

Kawak systems are pilot-friendly, operator-proven, and designed to keep pace with demanding missions, whether you’re fighting fire, conducting hoist operations, or switching to medevac.

This isn’t just equipment. It’s a firefighting partnership, built to help you win the mission and keep flying.

Unmatched Performance. Certified Safety. Proven Reliability. Supported.
