Kawak Aviation Technologies and FAA Certification and Affiliate Organizations
Kawak Aviation Technologies has been navigating the Federal Aviation Administration certification process for over two decades and has been awarded numerous certifications for our original and innovative technologies and modifications in the aviation industry. Kawak’s reputation has been validated by the FAA for “Engineering Excellence.”
Kawak Aviation has an on staff Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) which translates into higher efficiency, ‘lower’ development cost and more Kawak product out the door. These key positions enable Kawak to autonomously develop, manufacture, and certify new products for the aviation industry with limited outside involvement.
Kawak’s superior quality and reliability has also gained recognition by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). Kawak also recognizes the value of participating with other like minded organizations. Kawak’s success depends on the collaboration of ideas and commitment to bettering products, creating opportunity, supporting the industry as well as participating in government programs that will benefit the aviation industry as a whole.
Kawak is affiliated with several organizations that have the same integrity.

Aerial application is a critical component of high-yield agriculture. High yield agriculture, which includes the responsible use of crop protection products, benefits the environment by producing maximum crop yields from fewer acres. Some farmers apply their products from the ground using ground equipment, but many have realized that using an ag plane to do this work is often more efficient and effective.
The Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC) is a member-funded industry association dedicated to improving the defense industry climate across the Pacific Northwest. Through educational programs, business-to-business networking, and outreach to government decision makers, PNDC is working every day to ensure our members’ future success.
“The UAS industry believes the pending rule is urgently needed and will provide meaningful guidance to manufacturers and end users for design, construction and operation of small UAS to safely operate and deliver crucial services to law enforcement, agriculture and other sectors of the American economy.” said Toscano in a letter to Secretary LaHood. “UAS will be the next big revolution in aviation; however, before this industry can really take off, weneed rules from the FAA on how to safely operate alongside manned aircraft.”AUVSI continues to actively engage with members of Congress, federal regulators, aviation stakeholders, potential users, and privacy groups to help educate about the importance of unmanned systems.
